Zita Majoros has long been busy and inspired by gutter covers, considering them a kind of “urban jewel”. During her documentation, she discovered more than 40 types of different gutter covers, only in downtown Budapest. The regular, illustrative, mandala-like circles under which the urban canal system hides are regularly included in its graphics, T-shirts and booklets in a reworked, redrawn form, as are not so typical symbols of Budapest. Two types of necklaces are now available from these manhole covers.
