From the living city to inner abstraction

In Petyka's early works, he primarily used the city as inspiration and as a subject. The starting point was the urban environment and its impact. His creations mixed collages and de-collages, superimposed posters, photos and brushstrokes. The resulting works were a one-on-one reflection of his experiences of the city.
