Major Zita
She moved to Budapest from Serbia and studied graphic design at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. She knew very early on that she wanted to do some kind of visual art activity – the kind of it is still being shaped in her to this day. That is why she founded Printá in 2009, Hungary’s first sustainable fashion and upcycling brand, which gives her the right space to realize her ideas. Whether it is pattern design, serigraphy or ceramics, it is important for Zita to express the instinct of creation, so her works are recognizable by random, light brushstrokes and abstract forms. Her works are concerned with topics such as our relationship with the space around us, the passage of time, change or femininity.
