Sántó Sári
She originally studied to be a language teacher, and a few years later she found herself in the illustration department of the Britanka design school in Moscow. After her years in Moscow, she moved back to Budapest in 2020. Her work is inspired by found images and textiles, as well as half-forgotten details from the past. She often draws inspiration from her own childhood, her family's stories and memories, but her art is also based on everyday fragments of everyday life. In her diploma thesis, she explored the theme of emigration and the search for home, while examining the relationship between collage and story-building. In addition to collage, she also creates murals, comics, and picture books.
