Sandra Poliakov
She has Israeli, Bulgarian and Russian roots. She studied in Moscow and then Barcelona, but her passion for art began much earlier. Her intuitive works often explore themes of identity, connection to nature, inner strength and femininity, in which figurative forms often take on symbolic significance. She works primarily with digital techniques, but also enjoys using acrylic paint or oil pastels. Her multicultural background has deeply shaped her creative approach: the different stages of her life – Israel, Moscow, Barcelona and Budapest – have all shaped her relationship with identity and belonging.
