The Fülöpház sand dunes of the Kiskunság National Park are located in the central part of one of the largest sand areas in Central Europe. The Bucka region of Kiskunság was formed from the river sand sediments from the ancient Danube and was shaped by the wind. The constantly migrating sandpipers have now survived only here in Central Europe.
