Jane Goodall Intézet x Printa mini kollekció

The wisdom and strength she represents is truly special and inspiring. There is something about Dr. Jane Goodall that has impacted millions of people.

At the age of 10, he decided to go to Africa to observe wildlife, and at the age of 26, his dream came true. He went to the African forests to study the remarkable lives of chimpanzees, and nearly three decades later, he “left” his beloved chimpanzees to save them. Today, he travels about 300 days a year to raise awareness of the problems facing the Earth today.

Dr. Goodall turned 90 this April. She is celebrated all over the world throughout the year. In Hungary, many people have organized and are organizing programs in honor of Dr. Goodall.

Printa has designed a mini collection for the occasion, inspired by Dr. Goodall's work, yet presenting the world of African safaris in the unadulterated Printa way. The use of materials is close to nature, and the production is careful.

An important aspect of the design was the optimal use of materials, zero waste textile cutting solutions. The number of pieces in the collection is limited and follows the needs. It is characterized by organic cottons, natural cotton canvas and linen, which are brought to life by water-based screen-printed chimpanzee patterns.

In addition to the clothing, a "tsimpi" pillow doll was also created from textile scraps, with a recycled interior and also using environmentally friendly, water-based paints.

The face of the mini collection was chosen to be actress Sára Bohoczki, as she personifies Dr. Goodall in the Jane Goodall Institute's traveling theater play “Be Jane Too!”

By purchasing these designer pieces, you support the Jane Goodall Institute.

In 1977, Dr. Goodall founded the Jane Goodall Institute, and since then, Jane Goodall Institutes have been established in 28 other countries, making a difference in the world every day. As a global conservation organization, they represent a community-centered approach, and their goals are to protect animals, the environment and our fellow humans in Africa and many other areas of the world. The young and old who work in the organizations work for a better and more livable future, with great effort and enthusiasm.
