The new Printa spring-summer collection, "Canvas Atelier", draws inspiration from studio life. The clothes feature random, colorful patterns that create the effect of patched canvas - but it is clear that these patches are the result of a creative process. One of our main inspirations - not for the first time - is our work apron, on which the colorful spots and layers accumulate while working in our screen printing studio.

Most of the clothes are made of natural and black cotton. For this, we use a new material that was developed and produced for us in a family-run factory in Turkey over the course of a year. The raw material is organic cotton, and the weave is a dense double-sided interlock, but without lycra (the goal of the development was to avoid a plastic layer between the two sides). The result is a versatile, durable, and long-lasting cotton material that we can use not only to make casual clothes, but also to make more elegant pieces.

The patchwork pattern on the garments is only applied to the finished garment after sewing, thereby emphasizing the randomness and uniqueness, as well as the artistic quality of hand-screen printing. This is a direction that Printa screen printing studio has always represented, and one that we will place even greater emphasis on in the future.
In addition to the cotton pieces, the collection is complemented by patterned linen pieces, and we also decorate our recycled jackets with patches.
